    About

    After receiving her MA and MPhil in English, American Studies and Cultural Analysis, Anneloes van Gaalen started writing for a wide variety of international publications. She also worked as editor-in-chief of LE COOL magazine Amsterdam and as a lecturer at AMFI (Amsterdam Fashion Institute). Amongst other things she taught Writing & Editing for Independent Fashion Magazines. 

    As both a keynote speaker and moderator Anneloes van Gaalen has given lectures and moderated debates on such diverse topics as (independent) entrepreneurship, personal branding, street art and design. 

    A published author, Anneloes van Gaalen has written several books on (street) art, design, fashion, advertising, branding, new media and travel. She wrote and edited the critically acclaimed Ridiculous Rules series on the rules governing the world of design, fashion, advertising, web design and typography. 

    As a PR & Branding specialist Anneloes van Gaalen has worked for a wide variety of clients, including charities, private companies, governmental organizations, festivals, trade publications and magazines. Services range from consultancy to press releases and complete PR events. 

    As a producer and curator Anneloes van Gaalen organized several museum shows, festivals and (PR) events. She co-curated Dutch Masters, the first ever museum exhibition on street art and urban painting in the Netherlands. She curated French street artist and photographer JR's first exhibition in The Netherlands. She also served as the associate producer on the award-winning documentary Faces.
